Growing Radio Amateurs was a monthly meetup that I led intended to attract makers, or young people interested in making things technology oriented. We didn't attract makers other than current hams, mostly club members. We learned about basic electronics and progressed to using a Raspberry Pi microcomputer and Arduino microcontroller for radio projects.
I have led a workshop called Electronics Workshop. We are doing similar things but the topic list includes items not just about electronics. You can see the materials at https://github.com/hwdornbush
